Pregnant in Mid to Late 40s Naturally

Sandra’s Story

I live in a suburb of Chicago. I have been a physical therapist since 1994 but have been a stay at home mom since the birth of my first child in June 2009.

I had been previously married and wanted to have children however I knew that the marriage needed serious help before I could bring a child into the mix. I got divorced after 13.5 years with no children. I figured at the age of 40 that my odds of finding a man who wanted children and my ability to get pregnant might be small but I always had faith. I found a wonderful man and we married – I was 42.

We began trying to conceive but after 6 months we went to a fertility specialist to see if anything was wrong. They couldn’t find anything so we tried IVF which didn’t work. We then went through a horrible bankruptcy. We only had a little money left but we agreed to give IVF one more try so we did. It was successful and I gave birth on June 2 2009 at the age of 45. Just lately my husband and I began talking about trying again for one more baby ( we have a few embryos left.) I told him before we did IVF again – that I wanted to try for a few months the “old fashioned way” even though I knew the odds weren’t particularly in our favor. ( I’m a little stubborn!)

So, I went to a holistic chiropractor and masseuse, along with taking vitamin and mineral supplements. I also came across Circle and Bloom’s meditations and I knew I wanted to try them.

The hardest part of our journey has been tuning out all of the naysayers that like to bring up all of the reasons pregnancy won’t happen at my age or that the pregnancy will be high risk. I have always believed in the power of the mind and I wanted something that I could actively do for myself, something I could do that would be incredibly positive for me no matter what.

I used the 28 Day Circle and Bloom Natural Cycle program for one month and I am now pregnant!! At the age of 47!!! Take that naysayers. (-:

I would most definitely recommend these programs to my friends who are trying to conceive. I would shout the praises to anyone who would listen.
