Let me say that I have fallen asleep numerous times before the meditation had even finished. I start dozing off at “relaxation level B,” haha. However, I am aware that it’s suggested to stay awake the whole time. Last night, I willed myself to stay awake and listen to the whole thing. Listening to the whole thing is quite disappointing. She is saying how the meditation should work to improve quality of sleep, to treat the meditation as if we are going on a journey and every minute brings a deeper level of sleep or relaxation. I appreciate that suggestion, but there is no real guided imagery to meditate on or imagine myself being into, like “imagine yourself on a long transatlantic train ride with changing scenery and as scenery changes, you immerse yourself and become one with the scenery…” And so on. The Natural Cycle meditation uses a lot of guided imagery that I was expecting for this Deep Sleep Aid but did not get. Actually, I take that back, there was one guided imagery about the pineal gland and melatonin, but that’s about it.

The only thing I would suggest is to have like 3 different meditations inside of the deep sleep program so you can at least rotate which one you are listening to.

I’m used to using Joe Dispenza meditations, and wasn’t sure how these would work for me. But honestly they have helped tremendously. I relax easily, even if my thoughts wander, and i always feel relaxed after i hear these meditations.
This one in particulsr puts me yo sleep everytime.
