I can confidently say that the healthy natural cycle program changed my life, so I was quite shocked and disappointed when I started the healthy pregnancy program. In short, it’s not enough. One meditation for an entire week and then tampers down to once a month. Gets super repetitive, and more importantly, is simply not enough, especially for those of us who have struggled with infertility. The meditations are hard to follow, not enough for a whole pregnancy, and didn’t captivate my attention or really even make me more relaxed. I think it was a mixture between her voice and the content being a little all over the place. I thought it would be more guided and consistent and soothing. I have done meditations that are much better at guided imagery and I think I need that to pay attention. There were long pauses and a lot of the content doesn’t even seem pregnancy related. When I’m scared I’m about to lose my baby, I need more than this.

I used the programme for IVF and it was excellent and for the first time I was successful! I hadn’t been able to relax in any of my previous attempts and this really helped me. So I wanted to continue the relaxation in pregnancy, particularly for the nerve wracking first 12 weeks or so. I think this programme is very good and I like that there’s a session per week, I do think it’s helped connect to my baby. However, I feel like there is less time spent on body scan relaxation which I’d come to love and the sessions just end, without a countdown to either wake up or fall into a deep sleep, so I took one star off as just feel like these are not quite as relaxing and not quite as good for helping you get to sleep after. However, I put one star back on because you get the additional birth programme included! Overall I’m glad to have it even though I don’t think it’s as good as the IVF programme. Fingers crossed this helps me get through the rest of my pregnancy.

I have just started this program and am pretty bummed out to see that there is only one meditation per week for the first trimester. Even worst, there is only one per month for the second and third trimesters. I find this to be a bit sloppy. I loved the natural cycle for fertility program and have suggested several people to check it out but unfortunately I won’t be doing the same for this one. I think it likely would’ve made more sense to do a daily meditation for each day like they did with the natural cycle one and sold the programs by trimester. I’m positive that would be a hit! Hopefully they fix this because they offer such a great service that you can’t really find anywhere else, it’s too bad in this program it is a sub-par one. Either way I am grateful for this website <3
