RESOLVE of New England offers emotional support and thoughtful education to couples who have been having trouble conceiving a baby.
Susan D. Cooke, Co-CEO of Circle + Bloom, was appointed to the board of directors of RESOLVE of New England, a non-profit consumer-based infertility support organization that provides compassionate and informed help to people experiencing infertility. RESOLVE of New England has been instrumental in the passage of legislation helping Massachusetts infertility patients receive needed and cost-effective insurance coverage.
“It is an honor to join an organization that has been so helpful for people struggling with infertility and which provides emotional support, informative and unbiased education, and advocacy for this medical condition” says Susan Cooke.
“We are thrilled to have a professional with Susan’s business acumen and skills to join our nonprofit board,” added Rebecca Lubens, executive director. “Someone of Susan’s caliber will be invaluable as we chart our future course of educational programs, outreach and advocacy.”
RESOLVE of New England will be holding its annual Fertility Treatment, Donor Choices, and Adoption Conference on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel in Marlborough, Mass. The day-long conference – the largest one of its kind held each year in the Northeast U.S. – provides over 40 educational workshops on all aspects of infertility, donor conception, and adoption options and a comprehensive exhibit hall with related resources. Information about the program, and a registration form, is available at www.resolveofnewengland.org.
