My anxiety skyrocketed after experiencing a miscarriage. I was referred to a counselor who couldn’t stop talking about mindfulness and meditation. As an educator, I got it. The research is there on the brain benefits of mindfulness. But I was overwhelmed with the task of beginning a practice. My counselor recommended various apps and websites of recorded meditations but there were too many choices. Then I found the Circle+Bloom meditations. I love that making mindfulness a habit is so simple since each recording is about the same length and can be listened to at the same time each day. I liked that the recordings were each unique, yet predictable. Rather than finding one recording I liked and listening to it until I got bored, as I’d done in the past, Circle+Bloom gave me dozens of recordings that met my needs.
Out of curiosity, I tried a couple of other paid fertility meditations. One was a subscription service, billed monthly. Nothing like adding to the stress of wanting to get pregnant TODAY by knowing it’ll cost you more money to use the meditations the following months. With Circle+Bloom, you can use the meditations with no timeline, once purchased they are yours to keep. Another service did not offer anywhere near the number of recordings that come with the Circle+Bloom Packages. Lastly, I went to a hypnotist who specializes in fertility. Turns out, the relaxation achieved in hypnosis isn’t a whole lot different than what is achieved in meditation. I left the hypnotist with one (and only one) recording quite similar to the ones I already had from Circle+Bloom, making me realize what a bargain Circle+Bloom had been all along.
I would highly recommend the Circle+Bloom meditations to anyone trying to conceive and looking for a way to lower their stress and increase relaxation!
